Holy Spirit parents and families are an integral part of our vibrant community, playing a crucial role in the success and well-being of our students. We recognize and appreciate the support and involvement of our parents who partner with us in nurturing the educational and spiritual growth of their children.

Parent Teacher Organiz­ation

Our PTO volunteers and representatives are a strong link to our community at large. We plan many events throughout the year that are organized by our PTO. We invite you to participate and be an active part of our community!

Volunteer Opportunities at Holy Spirit Catholic School

We welcome parents/ caregivers to active volunteers with Holy Spirit Catholic School. Volunteering is an impactful way to engage with the Holy Spirit community and support our students' educational journey. By participating in these activities, parents and caregivers not only contribute to the school’s vibrant environment but also foster stronger connections with their children’s educational experiences. Whether you’re accompanying students on enlightening field trips, assisting teachers in creating dynamic classroom settings, or helping organize engaging PTO events, your involvement is invaluable.

Due to changes in laws that have been passed to assure safety for your children, any adult who would like to be in the classroom for any of these (or other) purposes MUST have a criminal history check performed. All volunteers that have any contact with the students must complete a mandatory background check and the Safe Parish online course with the Archdiocese.

PowerSchool - This is our Student Information System.

This is where you can track your child's attendance and grades. When your contact information changes, please notify the school office so we can update it in PowerSchool.

Parent Square

ParentSquare - This is our primary communication tool. School and home can use ParentSquare to set up conferences, share permission slips/forms, emails, texts, and even phone calls.

House App

The House App - We are initiating an adapted version of the Ron Clark House System, which includes points earned by individuals and houses. Parents/Caregivers are encouraged to download the House app on their phones to fully participate in enhancing the culture and climate of our Catholic school ministry!

PARENT/​GUARDIAN & STUDENT CULTURAL GUIDE

The Student & Parent Cultural Guide, developed with input from the school community, outlines Holy Spirit Catholic School's expectations, procedures, and policies. It promotes understanding of the school's values and practices, aiming for a respectful environment. Familiarizing yourself with the guide will enhance both student and family experiences, supporting academic, social, and spiritual growth. Engaging with this resource helps uphold the principles that make the school a nurturing place for learning and development.
